Oh and just as a note regarding the camera mode in Gothic the first person perspective has actually been available since Gothic 1 and worked in pretty much the same way since (All the way to 'Risen'.), use the camera to look around a bit better but do the main game in third person mode, same with Two Worlds actually although in Gothic you could fight in first person. (Oblivion first, Gothic 3 later, NWN 2 after that or somewhere and then Two Worlds if I remember correctly.) Haha, yeah the first game had it's share of issues and as you say competition from titles like Oblivion (And Gothic 3.) lowered the sales a bit, some heavy titles so close to one another after all. (Hard going so far as to remove respawning if you died.)ĮDIT: Ah those videos are more like short animation teasers like these ones for the first game.

There's some new picture slides from the sequel available which is why I decided to create this thread so it has one of it's own instead of smaller posts in the other 'Two Worlds' threads, looks interesting but of course it's hard to judge gameplay from something like this.ĮDIT: I liked the first game though but it had issues with game balance and the voice acting was a bit overdone but was also a budget work (Title was pretty low budget as such from what I know.), good visuals and a varied and huge game world but a bit repetetive at times with simpler quest objectives, huge variety of items and armor though and a nice bestiary plus after the 1.5.0 update it was better balanced and required tactics on the higher difficulty levels.

There isn't that much details about the sequel actually but this will have to do until there's more available other than the brief news updates in the newsletter and some brief bits on it's website which was improved a while ago.
